Since my last post is a little heavy (and this one seems to be the last post of the semester?), I decide to make this one lighter and more relaxing. X) I am going to introduce you two songs from GC's latest album Cardiology. According to the lead singer Joel, the title comes from the lyrical content of the album, which is "all connected to the heart".
---------
Not every family is built to last
No time can take away these memories
Remember when you said to me
That we'd be all right
Good Charlotte - 1979
(But I think there was no "Just The Way You Are" in that time. I mean, isn't that song from Bruno Mars? :O)
The song combines the recollection of "those good old days", and I think it is an autobiography of the twins Benji and Joel from the band. They had a hard time during their teens, but we don't see much anger and sorrow in this song; it's much more mature comparing with their early music works. Give it a shot, even without paying attention to the lyrics, the lively tones that acoustic guitars bring and melody themselves are cheerful. Hope you enjoy it. :)

Good Charlotte - Counting the Days
Actually, the song brings out and helps releasing my emotions several times. And if you have seen your beloved singers performing on stage, you may understand the feeling of ecstasy while I'm watching it. X) Last but not least, the speech at the end of the video is impressive and touching. Check it out. :)
